Our Team

Our Veterinarians

Cape Fear Animal Hospital's four veterinarians are here to provide you with quality medical care for your pets. Our doctors have a range of special interests, including orthopedic surgery, dentistry and internal medicine.

Our Practice Manager

Our Client Care Specialists

Our Client Care Specialists are the first faces you see each visit. They have the busiest and possibly the most difficult job in our hospital. From handling the phones and emails, checking in and checking out clients, verifying medical records, managing our inventory, relaying messages, and occasionally triaging emergencies to alert our medical team, these ladies still make the time for a few magic moments of snuggles, treats, and conversation with our patients and their parents.

Our Medical Support Team

Our Registered Veterinary Technicians and Veterinary Assistants provide nursing care, perform procedures such as collecting and processing samples in the lab, catheter placement, taking xrays, monitoring anesthesia, assisting in surgery, scaling and polishing teeth, gather vital signs and collect patient histories during appointments, alert our doctors to any sudden changes of our hospital patients, and make sure our boarding guests receive appropriate medications during their stay.

Our Kennel Team

The smiling faces of the Kennel Team greet you and your fur baby when dropping off for the day or swinging by for a Tech appointment. The Kennel staff are considered the hospitality team for patient and boarding guest comfort. Feeding, cleaning, walking, and bathing all those fur babies is a never ending job, but they still make time for play and snuggles. This group of unsung heroes are on the front line, reporting any concerns to the medical team if a guest is feeling a little less than happy. They also help our Doctors and Techs throughout the day by assisting with X-rays, holding for procedures, and helping maintain our hospital.
